A little about me
Hi, I’m Victor.

I’m a Mechatronics Engineer at Weave Robotics in San Francisco, working across mechanical design, electronics, sensing, and embedded control. I’m interested in robotics research that connects physical mechanisms to useful behavior: how an actuator is built, how a sensor is calibrated, and how those choices shape what a robot can do.
At Weave, my work includes robotic actuators, custom circuit boards, embedded firmware, power systems, and the practical process of turning prototypes into repeatable builds. I enjoy moving between CAD, the workbench, and code, especially when understanding a problem requires all three.
Previously, I worked on mechanical systems at Ambi Robotics and conducted undergraduate research at Western University’s FAST Laboratory and Dynamics and Sensing Systems Laboratory. That work ranged from high-temperature belt printers and paste extrusion to simulation and physical prototyping.
My background spans mechatronic systems engineering and business at Western and Ivey. Outside engineering, I enjoy FPV flying, reading, and basketball. I speak English and Mandarin.
